Tristan is a Research Fellow in Prof. Friščićs group at the University of Birmingham. His research focuses on photo-responsive crystalline materials, and developing new ways to monitor mechanochemical reactions in real time. This website will host highlights of Tristan’s and the rest of the Friščićs groups research, while also highlighting other research in mechanochemistry, as well as tutorials focused on the theory of spectroscopy, mechanochemistry, crystal engineering,  theoretical calculations, and instrumentation.
